Inside experience. Outside perspective.

I’m Jo Jaggs, a design and strategy consultant, trend forecaster and educator. My career has moved across fashion, lifestyle and home, but the thread running through it has always been the same: a curiosity about people, culture and what comes next.

I started in design, learning how an early instinct or emerging trend becomes something people genuinely want. My experience has been shaped as much by doing as by thinking. I’ve travelled the world researching markets and seeking inspiration, stood on factory floors with manufacturing partners, selected fabrics and trims, developed products and ranges, and led creative teams taking ideas from their earliest beginnings through to market.

Working inside global and Australian brands has taught me to see the whole picture: the creative decisions that shape an idea, alongside the customer, commercial and manufacturing realities that determine whether it will succeed. That experience has also led my work into circularity and education, exploring not only what we create, but how we create it and how we can influence understanding and behaviour.

That experience shapes how I work with clients today. Rather than looking at design, trends, consumers, commercial opportunity or impact in isolation, I bring those perspectives together to identify opportunities, challenge assumptions and create a clear way forward.

For the people I work with, the value is not simply another set of ideas. It’s having an experienced, independent perspective alongside them to make sense of complexity, identify what matters and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

At the heart of my work is a belief that good direction starts with understanding people: what they value, how they live, what is changing around them and what might matter next.
